Benuara comes from grapes of Nero d'Avola, Syrah. Vineyards are grown in the hills at an altitude of 300m asl, facing south for the Nero d'Avola, southeast for the Syrah, with a density of strains equal to 5000 plants per hectare and a yield equal to 55 hectoliters per hectare. Manual harvesting in cassettes in the last decade of August for Syrah and the first decade of September for Nero d'Avola.
