A'mmare comes from a family vineyard located in Campobello di Pantelleria; a small plot bordered by low walls located about 30 meters above sea level, very close to the water's edge. The vineyard receives from the sea that little frost, sometimes salty, which allows it to survive. Under these conditions, the grapes ripen very early, in some years even at the end of July.
