Nerello Mascalese is an autochthonous vine from Sicily and recalls its perfume sometimes to the great wines of Burgundy or Barolo. Ruby red, with intense aromas of flowers, cloves and berries with a fine balsamic touch. On the palate it has a great elegance and complexity. Soft tannins give the wine a great structure. It goes well with Mediterranean dishes such as pasta alla Norma or meat dishes, such as Sicilian roast u Farsu Magru, or hard cheeses such as pecorino.
