This wine is obtained from the best Nerello Mascalese batches that have been selected for the perfect polyphenolic maturation. The long maceration at low temperature allows a complete extraction of the components creating a wine in which the true potentials of these particular grapes and of the Etna terroir are enhanced. The particular elegance of the tannins combined with a remarkable concentration determines a great sensory complexity in which the mineral taste of the black sands of the volcano is highlighted in a very fine way. Alongside these characteristics, spicy notes are perceived which combine very pleasantly with the fruitiness of the grapes, and traces of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts can be felt in the aftertaste.
