Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon blanc is a white grape variety today produced in Sicily Italy, coming from the French area of Bordeaux. The name derives from the French word sauvage ("wild"), an adjective due to its origins of a native plant of the French south-west. The real surprise was the excellent quality wine production in Sicily that this vine not being native has managed to adapt and find the natural system of growth.
