The undisputed master of traditional Sicilian panettone is Nicola Fiasconaro . An award-winning who managed to make friends with panettone and sour dough with the most typical Sicilian products and climate at Castelbuono, a medieval town in the middle of the Madonie Park, in the province of Palermo. By now the Fiasconaro pastry shop, created in 1953 by his father Mario, is recognized worldwide, from the United States to Australia, not for cannoli, cassata or almond paste, but for panettone.
