Passo delle Mule is a pure Nero d'Avola Duca di Salaparuta that comes from grapes fully ripened in the sun at the end of September on the winding hills of the Suor Marchesa estate, in the hinterland of southern Sicily. Here the calcareous composition of the soil and a good altitude, which guarantees a balanced warm and dry climate, with a good temperature range, represent the perfect combination for the production of this enveloping wine, which shows softness despite a remarkable acid richness. Complex and structured, Passo delle Mule ages in barriques and ages in bottle for a long time.
