Donnafugata wines interpret Sicily and passionately tell the sensory universe. Donnafugata was born in Sicily from the initiative of a family that has over 160 years of experience in quality wine. Giacomo Rallo and his wife Gabriella, with their children Josè and Antonio carry out an entrepreneurial project that aims at taking care of the details and puts man at the service of nature to produce wines that increasingly meet the potential of the territory. The Donnafugata adventure began in 1983 from the historic cellars of the Rallo family in Marsala and in the vineyards of Contessa Entellina, in the heart of western Sicily; in 1989 Donnafugata arrives on the island of Pantelleria where it begins to produce sweet natural wines.
